We started Little Cove Cocktail Co. with big dreams of joy-filled events, sunny trailer designs, and of course - delicious and inviting handcrafted cocktails.

With years of experience in the wedding industry through event and portrait photography, we have firsthand knowledge and expertise in planning and executing a successful event. From the first days of planning to the moment you’re picking up confetti and polaroids off the dance floor.

We and our additional bartenders, are Serve-Safe and Food + Alcohol Safety trained per the ABC requirements for California.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We have a minimum of 4 hours on services and events. We have a minimum of 2 bartenders on events larger than 40 guests.

  • Each event is unique, and each package price is tailored to the event. Our events vary in price depending on your needs, how many hours, guests, day of the week, bartenders needed, and if you choose to include add-ons.

    Our average price per person is $23, not including the trailer rental and additional add-ons.

  • Being a dry-hire mobile bartending service means that the client must purchase the alcohol for the event, while we provide all the other components needed for drink service.

    This is a requirement in California, and as a legally operating LLC (limited liability company) we follow all state and local rules and regulations.

    This is to the advantage of our clients, as you are able to source your alcohol where you choose to - often helping to cut your costs. We will guide your alcohol purchasing with suggestions on product and quantity, while you are able to choose the brands based on your budget.

  • Once you are booked with Little Cove, we will schedule a call to chat about your drink preferences. We will also send you an example signature cocktail menu for guidance.

    Once we have a better understanding of your cocktail and beverage styles, and you have booked with Little Cove for your event, we will send a curated cocktail menu according to your taste preferences.

    Our menus are always seasonal, and a mix of new innovative recipes and classic tried and trues.

  • We serve private events of any shape or form! Weddings, birthdays, graduations, baby showers, corporate parties, holiday parties - you name it.

    As long as the client provides the alcohol, we are able to bring our bartending services to you.

    Right now, we are unable to serve public events unless we obtain the proper permits. We hope to add this to our services in the future!

  • Yes, Little Cove Cocktail Co. has general and liquor liability insurance. Since we are a dry-hire, we do not have a liquor license to purchase and provide alcohol.

  • We require a 50% non refundable initial payment to reserve the date. The remaining balance is due 60 days from the date of event, any cancellations made within 60 days of event date, lose the right to a full refund.

  • A 18% Admin. and Service charge will be added to all invoices. If a tip jar is opted out, a 25% gratuity will be added to final invoice.

  • Yes! We love to give our clients a chance to try up to 4 signature cocktails that we have curated for your menu. Then you decide which will be your final choices. We hope that this experience allows you to feel that we are meeting your expectations ahead of your event. We will provide the ingredients, while you will provide the alcohol.

    The tasting will be at our home in Santa Cruz, and the tasting fee is $100.

    If you’d like to try the cocktails in the comfort of your own home the tasting will be $200 for locations within 50 miles.

    Please inquire if you are located outside of our 50 mile radius.

    Must be able to park on flat ground, will not drive on muddy or extremely bumpy surfaces.

  • Weather can be unpredictable! Due to booking in advance, we cannot predict rain or bad weather dates. In the event rain or bad weather is projected for your outdoor event, we are happy to work with your tent vendor to find the appropriate size tent for our bar services. Tents must be at minimum 8ft tall for our bar to fit inside.

  • Here at Little Cove we have a love and eye for cool, coastal decor. We love to decorate our bar and have plenty of items we can provide for decor.

    If you’re not seeing something you’re hoping for we would love to work with whatever you desire to decorate with! Decor can be placed on top of counters, or in front of the trailer. If you want to attach something to the outside of the trailer (such as florals or signs), we can discuss further about non permanent hanging options!

  • Eleectricity is required for the event. There are two options.

    1. The trailer must be within 75 ft. of a power outlet. We will provide extension cords.

    2. If there is no power source, you can rent our generator for an additional fee.

  • You should book as soon as possible! We operate on a first come, first serve basis. A 50% non refundable retainer and signed contract must be in place to secure a date. This retainer will go towards your final payment. Unfortunately, since we block out your date specifically from further inquiries, we do not offer a retainer refund on cancellations.
